The Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Radiant Children’s Hospital equipes with highly proficient team and infrastructure to provide most congenial cardiac care to the patient.

Radiant Children’s Hospital is the only hospital in the western Rajasthan which operates on the Neonates that is babies which are lesser than 28 days. The hospital is having two different Intensive Care Unit for both the age groups. NICU (Neonatal different Intensive Care Unit) is for the babies lesser than 28 days and PICU (Pediatric different Intensive Care Unit) is for the children more than 29 days.

    External factors, such as exposure to harmful things like alcohol, tobacco, or certain medications, can impact the baby’s development in the womb. These influences might disturb the formation of bones, joints, or muscles, leading to orthopedic issues.
  3. Nutritional Deficiencies:
    A lack of fundamental nutrients, particularly folic acid and calcium, during pregnancy can affect the proper formation of the baby’s skeletal system. Balanced nutrition is imperative for reducing the risk of such deformities.
  4. Infections During Pregnancy:
    Certain infections like rubella or Zika virus can interrupt with the baby’s normal development. These infections may cause malformations in the skeletal or muscular systems, along with other complications.
  5. Amniotic Band Syndrome:
    This occurs when threads of the amniotic sac entangle parts of the baby’s body, restricting growth. It can lead to deformities like missing fingers or toes and other limb abnormalities.
  6. Unknown Causes:
    In many cases, congenital deformities occur without a clear reason. This unpredictability can be challenging for parents but emphasise the importance of prenatal care and regular monitoring.

Dr. Shyamveer Singh Khangarot is trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon. After completing his training from Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital and associated Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, he joined Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon as an Associate consultant in the Department of Paediatric CardioThoracic Surgery where he worked for two and half years with highly skilled and experienced team dealing with full spectrum of congenital cardiac cases ranging from Simple ASD to highly complex Norwood procedure. He has also worked as Consultant, Paediatric Cardiac Surgery at Paras hospital, Gurgaon. Currently he is working in Fortis hospital Manesar, Gurgaon.   He is having experience in performing full spectrum of congenital cardiac operations ranging from ASD closure to complex repairs including infantile Arterial switch operation, Arch repairs and single ventricle palliations. He is well versed with post operative intensive care of full spectrum of congenital cardiac patients. He has worked as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Maheshwari Hospital, Jaisalmer,  Anaesthetist and Intensivist at Goyal Hospital & Research centre and Vasundhara Heart Center. He was Senior Resident of Cardiac Anaesthisia at AIIMS , New Delhi .

Currently he is working as a Consultant Cardiac Anaesthetist & Intensivist in JIET Hospital and in Radiant Children’s Hospital since a year.

Her educational qualification is B.Sc Cardiac Perfusion from D.Y Patil Medical College,Navi Mumbai, 2017- 2018. She has worked as a Trainee Perfusionist in Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi, trainee Perfusionist specialization in Pediatrics from B.J Wadia Hospital, Parel – Mumbai. She has also worked in Medipulse Hospital, Jodhpur from April 2019 – May 2022
